Return policy

Badalah is a mediator platform that connects customers with registered home business vendors. We do not sell or ship products directly. As such, all returns are handled between the customer and the vendor. However, we are committed to supporting a smooth and trustworthy return process on the platform.


1. Vendor Responsibility

Each vendor is responsible for:

  • Setting and displaying their own return policy on their store profile.

  • Honoring their return policy in a professional and timely manner.

  • Accepting returns for items that are defective, damaged, or not as described.

Badalah recommends vendors offer a minimum 3-day return window after delivery for eligible products.


2. Eligible Return Conditions

Customers may request a return if:

  • The product is defectivedamaged, or incomplete upon arrival.

  • The item does not match the description on the platform.

  • The item was delivered late and no longer required.

All return requests must be submitted within the vendor’s return policy window (typically 3–7 days).


3. Return Process for Customers

  1. Contact the vendor directly using the in-app chat or order page.

  2. Provide clear evidence (photos or videos) of the issue.

  3. Request a return or replacement, depending on the vendor’s policy.

If the vendor fails to respond or resolve the issue within 3 business days, customers may escalate the issue to Badalah Support.


4. Badalah's Role in Return Disputes

  • Badalah does not guarantee returns but may mediate disputes.

  • We review return cases fairly and may make a recommendation to both parties.

  • Our team may suspend vendors who consistently fail to honor returns for valid reasons.


5. Items Not Eligible for Return

Returns may be declined if:

  • The item was useddamaged by the customer, or lacks original packaging.

  • The item is custom-madepersonalized, or perishable.

  • The return request was made after the vendor’s return period.


6. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • In most cases, the customer bears the return shipping cost.

  • If the item was faulty or incorrect, vendors may cover return shipping at their discretion.
